How to manually provision Polycom SoundPoint IP on the dVoice UC Platform

Phone model used: Polycom SoundPoint IP 550.

The steps also apply to other Polycom SoundPoint IP phone models.

1. Go to ‘Menu’.

2. Go to ‘Settings’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Press ‘Select’.

3. Go to ‘Advanced’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Press ‘Select’.

4. Enter the password '456' using the Dial Pad. Press ‘Enter’.

5. Go to ‘Admin Settings’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Press ‘Select’.

6. Go to ‘Network Configuration’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Press ‘Select’.

7. Go to ‘Prov. Server:’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Press ‘Select’.

8. Go to ‘DHCP Menu’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Press ‘Select’.

9. Go to ‘Boot Server’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Use the left & right arrow keys of your navigation tool until it is on ‘Static’. Press ‘OK’.

10. Go to ‘Server Type’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Use the left & right arrow keys of your navigation tool until it is on ‘HTTP’. Press ‘OK’.

11. Go to ‘Server Address’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool. Use the Dial Pad to enter the server address: cfg.voice.dynmx.net/cfg Press ‘OK’.

12. Continue pressing ‘Back’ until you arrive a screen where you can save your configurations. Go to ‘Save Config’ using the up & down arrow keys of your navigation tool and press ‘Select’. You have manually provisioned the phone and it will auto-reboot.
